I finally took the leap and started building my ePortfolio on Wix, and it’s been both exciting and a little chaotic. I wanted a space that looked professional and truly represented me, not just another temporary site for a class. After browsing templates, I chose a clean design and customized the layout to include the essentials: Home, About Me, Portfolio, Blog, and Contact. Choosing colors and fonts to match my style was fun until mobile editing reminded me that everything looks different on a phone!
Even in this early stage, I’ve learned a lot. The biggest lesson is that it’s better to start simple and just publish something than to hold everything back waiting for perfection. I’m still figuring out the quirks of aligning elements and occasionally running into features that require upgrades, but I’m proud of how polished the site already feels.
The best part is adding blog posts because they show my growth in real time. This ePortfolio isn’t just a project it’s a living space where my professional identity can evolve. I know I’ll keep improving it as I continue learning, and that honestly feels empowering. So for anyone starting their own ePortfolio journey: jump in, be patient with the process, and celebrate every update big or small.
